Review: Downstate (Playwrights Horizons)

I’m writing this long after seeing it, so my memory is not all that fresh!

To my recollection, this show was profound and richly layered with exemplary performances from every single person onstage. Brilliantly written and thought-provoking. Well-done production that immersed the audience in the story without issue.

Made me feel bad with both precision and skill. This is a compliment.
